Hello Friends,
The Lord is with us! Let’s be reminded that Psalms 91:2-3 says to us, “This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.” Amen!
As you are all already aware, there is a great deal of attention to and concern regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in our nation and our world. We have been closely monitoring events and staying up to date with recommendations and advisories from local, state, and federal authorities.
Out of an abundance of care for our communities, we are temporarily moving to an online-only service experience beginning Sunday, March 22 at 10:30 AM. We will continue to monitor day by day to make the best choices we can during this time. Though this is not an easy decision, we do so to look out for the interest of other, not just ourselves, to honor our governing officials who have urged extreme caution and to love our neighbors, many of whom are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19.
To join us for our online-only service this weekend, simply visit our Facebook or our SC Live Stream on our website Sundays at 10:30 AM. At those pages, you'll be able to view a live stream of the service as it happens, join in worship, and connect with our community. We also encourage you to download the Solutions Church App for your iOS or Android device so you can get updates, follow along, give online, and fill out a connection card.
Notice that we didn’t say we are “canceling church” or “canceling services”. That may seem subtle, but we believe this is very important. The only way to “cancel” the church would be for us all to renounce Christ and stop following Him, because the church is not a place or a service. The church is people who believe in Jesus and live and love like He does. And right now, our world needs what Jesus brings more than ever.
So let's all gather online this weekend for services - we'll see you there!
Know that we are not only being the church in our building, but we are the church out where we live. In the middle of everything going on in our world, we have a tremendous opportunity to bring strength, peace, hope, and the love of Christ everywhere we go. Stay connected! Look for each other! Reach out! Simply stated: There has never been a better time to BE the church!

Remember the truth of 2 Timothy 1:7, which says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" Now is the time to choose wisdom over worry, faith over fear, prayer over panic, and service over selfishness.
